Moneris names new Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary and Chief Human Resources Officer

Toronto, Canada — July 15, 2014 — Moneris Solutions Corporation (“Moneris”) is pleased to announce the recent appointments of Faeron Trehearne as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary and Denise Hayes as Chief Human Resources Officer, joining Moneris effective immediately.

Faeron brings knowledge of traditional and evolving payment systems from her previous role as Associate Vice-President of Legal - Technology, Outsourcing and Direct Channels, at TD Bank Group. Faeron was accountable for the legal aspects of TD’s mobile, online, phone and ATM channels. She acted as a key legal advisor on mobile payment initiatives and led a team with specialized knowledge of the mobile business.

Denise Hayes is an experienced human resources professional who brings over 20 years of leadership experience to Moneris. As Senior Vice President of People for Saint Elizabeth Health Care, Denise focused on driving the talent strategy in order to prepare the organization for growth and business expansion. Prior to Saint Elizabeth Health Care, Denise held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at ADP Canada where she developed strategy to increase rates of employee engagement and retention during a period of significant business growth.

Denise will provide strategic direction on all North American human resources initiatives at Moneris, including employee engagement, leadership development, and succession planning. Denise will be instrumental in shaping company-wide human resources policy and aligning it to bottom line success. Performing as a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer and Board, Denise will translate business need requirements into talent management programs while positioning Moneris for future growth.
