New President and CEO Angela Brown brings her extensive experience and solid track record to Moneris Solutions Corporation (Moneris).
As Canadian merchants get ready for a busy holiday season, we are excited to introduce you to Angela Brown – the new President and CEO leading Moneris into 2014 and beyond.
A native of Toronto, Brown brings extensive knowledge and experience to her new role. Prior to joining Moneris, she was Group Executive, Enterprise Development Merchants & Acceptance, at MasterCard® Worldwide in New York.
“With more than 25 years’ experience in the payments industry, Angela has strong business and leadership skills and extensive expertise of the payments landscape, both in Canada and the U.S.,” says Andrea Bolger, Chair of the Moneris Board of Directors.
As the new leader of Moneris, Brown’s mandate is to continue positioning the company as the leading merchant-services and card-processing provider in North America. “My priority is to ensure we continue to support your electronic payments processing needs by providing innovative, value-added products, backed up by exceptional service and support,” Brown says.
With Brown in the driver’s seat, Moneris is prepared to thrive in a competitive marketplace and to respond to the ever-advancing technology of the financial industry. “I’m very excited about the opportunities for Moneris because of the expertise and the innovation that the company has shown in the past”, she says. “This is a very interesting time in acquiring and I love the tech that’s emerging and is also going to converge.”
